Everyone works with vSphere technology wants to try out one or the other functions, we opt for deploying a vSphere lab setup. But a lazy guy like me finds it very difficult as I have to invest time to sit and deploy the machines and configure them.
LabGuides will help you deploy your machines in a minute. This is basically an ovf file which will create VM’s and help you to deploy your environment with minimal efforts.
Here is the list of VM’s gets deployed and their configurations

The ovf is developed and automated for the installation of operating system and applications in the Virtual Machines. This project is available at http://www.labguides.com and updates will occur there.
Note: These instructions are not intended for the absolute beginner. They will allow someone with moderate server infrastructure knowledge to rapidly build a vSphere lab.
After deploying your environment using Autolab Kit we have to get few Softwares like vCenter , ESXi, VMware PowerCLI, VMware Tools, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 ISO to get them up and running.
Below are the Optional Components
- View 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 or 6.0 installers
- VMware vCLI for vSphere 5.1 or 5.5
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 – Express Edition Management Studio
- VMware vMA
- Windows XP ISO
- Veeam ONE and Veeam Backup & Replication installers
